Kathmandu : The much-awaited Nepali film ‘Jadau’ has officially unveiled its title track, ‘Jadau Hajur’, during a press meet held in the capital on Friday. The upbeat dance number has been released through the HiTech Entertainment YouTube channel.

The song features vocals by Rajan Raj Shiwakoti and Rachana Rimal, with lyrics and music composed by Babul Giri. The music video stars lead actors Niti Shah, Prabhat Pal Thakuri, and Rajshree Thapa, highlighting a love triangle central to the film’s storyline. The choreography has been done by Ramji Lamichhane.
Directed jointly by Anjan Sharma and Kaji Limbu, Jadau is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on September 25.

During the launch event, singers Rajan Raj Shiwakoti and Rachana Rimal performed the title song live, entertaining the audience. Rajan Raj shared that this was the first time he had contributed to a film solely as a playback singer, while Rachana said it marked her first playback collaboration with him.

Produced by Samishran Movies & Entertainment in association with Silver Screen Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film features an ensemble cast including Mukun Bhusal, Richa Sharma, Niti Shah, Prabhat Pal Thakuri, Rajshree Thapa, Binod Neupane, Naresh Paudyal, Geeta Adhikari, Khadka Bahadur Pun (Khabpu), Sundar Dhital, Sandhya Shrestha, and Sumitra Devkota.

Speaking at the event, actress Niti Shah said Jadau presents a realistic and refreshing story that stands apart from contemporary Nepali films. Actor Mukun Bhusal expressed confidence that audiences would see him in a grounded and authentic role, while Prabhat Pal Thakuri described the film as a significant milestone in his career. Making her acting debut, Rajshree Thapa said she hopes audiences will warmly embrace her first performance.

Director Anjan Sharma said the team had left no stone unturned in making a quality film. Co-director and writer Kaji Limbu added that Jadau aims to entertain audiences while delivering a meaningful social message.

The film has been cinematographed by Shyam Tamang and Navaraj Upreti. Co-producers include Rajaram Subedi, Sumitra Devkota, Deepak Pokharel, Narayan Shastri, and Dilli Pokharel. It is produced by Srijana Sharma and Manish Sharma, with Shanti Pudasaini serving as executive producer and Bimala Bhandari as production head. NGCN Group will handle the film’s nationwide distribution.
