Kathmandu. The 33rd anniversary of Navodit Vidyakunj and Parents’ Day have been celebrated with various programs. Parents’ Day was celebrated under the chairmanship of Kedarnath Khanal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Navodit Vidyakunj, and under the chief hospitality of Ramji Adhikari, Founder Chairman of Manav Sewa Ashram.
Welcoming the guests present at the program, Vice Principal of Vidyakunj Bikash Raj Sharma said that education is a medium for enhancing knowledge and stressed the need for coordination between parents, students, and the school.
Giving a congratulatory speech at the anniversary program, Hisan Vice President Bishnu Prasad Poudel said that the education system should be in line with the times and practical education should be provided. Poudel requested that students learn a lot from their parents and apply the education they have learned in school in practice.
Similarly, Deshbandhu Adhikari, on behalf of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, said that hard work is the most important thing for a person to succeed. He said that since it is time for AI to be technology-friendly, it is time for parents and students to make school education technology-friendly as well.
Similarly, former general and social worker Dharma Baniya said that the country would collapse without education, saying that his experiences while serving in the military had made this clear. He cited the example of Nelson Mandela’s education policy and said that education should be developed first in the country.

Addressing Parents’ Day, Rajendra Adhikari, Principal of Navodik Vidyakunj, said that since Parents’ Day is celebrated 365 days a year, there is an environment where parents can meet teachers at school with confidence and get information about their students’ studies. Principal Adhikari said that since the time has come for AIA, we should move forward by linking technology with skills and skills with life. He said that students should be kept in culture and discipline, and there is a need for digital fasting between parents and students.
Similarly, Ward Chairman of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward No. 26, Khyamraj Tiwari, said that life is a confluence of discipline and study and said that it is time for parents to be aware of the future of their students. Stating that education in recent times has not become professional, there is a lot of discontent after higher education; he said that now practical education should be implemented from the school itself.
The chief guest of the program, Ramji Adhikari, the founding chairman of Mavsewa Ashram, gave motivation to the students and parents. He said that a person who prioritizes his parents, society, and country is always successful. He said that the country needs to study with discipline and said that only citizens who make the country a paradise are needed. If one cannot respect the land where one was born and the country where one was introduced, then one cannot make as much progress as we have and live a successful and happy life, said the chief guest, Adhikari.
The program was attended by distinguished personalities from various fields, including Sigma College Principal Jaydev Singh Dhami, RSS journalist Achyut Regmi, News of Global editor Suman Pandit, founders of Nabodit schools and colleges, teachers, and educators.
