Kathmandu: The Creative Institute of Fashion Technology (CIFT) has announced the ‘Miss Glam World Nepal 2026’ national beauty pageant, with applications now open.

According to CIFT Chief Suchita Sachi, the competition will focus not only on beauty and fashion but also on personality, confidence, leadership, talent, presentation skills and social awareness. The pageant aims to provide Nepali women with opportunities to showcase their abilities at national and international levels.

Women aged 16 to 32 years with a minimum height of 155 cm (5 feet 1 inch) can participate. The application fee is Rs 1,000.

Following the application process, the audition will be held on September 26, 2026 (Ashwin 10, 2083). A total of 25 selected contestants will receive training under choreographer Rozin Shakya. The grand finale is scheduled for November 21, 2026 (Mangsir 5, 2083) at The Plaza, Pulchowk, Lalitpur.

Three International Titles from One National Platform

The organizers are also preparing to select Nepali representatives for three international titles through the same national platform: Miss Glam Universe Nepal, Miss Glam World Nepal and Miss Teen Glam World Nepal.

The final age categories and title structure will be determined based on the official provisions mentioned in the international directorship letter.

The winner of Miss Glam World Nepal 2026 will have the opportunity to represent Nepal at Miss Glam World 2026, which is scheduled to be held in India toward the end of 2026.

CIFT stated that the competition is designed to create a professional platform for young women interested in fashion and beauty while providing opportunities for international exposure and recognition.
