The audio visuals of five songs composed by lyricist Dambar Yakso have been released. The audio-visuals of the five songs were released under the chairmanship of former president of the Songwriters Association of Nepal, Shubha Mukarung, and under the chief guestship of the association’s president, Basanta Bityasi Thapa.

The guests present at the event organized by Sewa Recording were welcomed by musician Shanti Ram Rai. Musician Rai gave a brief introduction to lyricist Dumber Yakso and said that life experiences are presented in a simple way in the song. The program was conducted by Sesame Limbu.

Muskan Chhaina, Aamako Tirsana, Timro Najarma, Nisthuri Rahechhau Daiba, and Ati Sundar Hamro Hangpang Gaun were released.

Giving a congratulatory speech, writer Laxmi Upreti said that she was impressed by the creations of Dambar Yakso. Writer Upreti said that songs, music, and literature are an integral part of the country.

Senior musician Bulu Mukarung said that Dambar Yakso is a lyricist of a special class. He said that the songs are about astronomy and geography, human feelings, the story of the Lahure, and the fragrance of the soil.

President of the World Nepali Academy of Literature Gopikrishna Prasai said that lyricist Dambar Yakso, who writes in various genres of literature, has depicted the experiences he has had during his world travels from his birthplace, like Hangpang, in his songs.

Senior poet, lyricist, and academic Shrawan Mukarung said that lyricist Dambar Yakso is a lyricist and poet with special talent in songwriting. Stating that lyricist Yakso’s creations have impressed him, he said that the creations will be evergreen. He also requested not to indulge in the momentary pleasure of seeing the society following the viral trend recently.

The chief guest of the program, Basanta Bityasi Thapa, president of the Songwriters Association of Nepal, said that lyricist Dambar Yakso is a lyricist who creates songs that suit the country and the environment. President Thapa also requested that the owner of the creation should now protect his financial and intellectual property. President Thapa said that since creators like Dambar Yakso are only making investments and are not receiving returns, there is a need to ensure the rights of intellectual property legally.

Similarly, concluding the program, former president of the Songwriters Association, Shubha Mukarung, said that lyricist Dambar Yakso was a versatile lyricist and poet. Stating that lyricist Yakso’s works touched his heart in terms of writing, he wished him continued success in the future as well. Singer Deepak Limbu, singer Ashok Mukarung, and singer Deepa Suhang, among others, gave musical performances at the program.

The program was attended by a large number of distinguished personalities, including senior musician Bulu Mukarung; senior poet and lyricist Rajan Mukarung; senior poet and lyricist Pragya Shravan Mukarung; Deputy Secretary to the Government of Nepal Amardeep Sunuwar; lyricist Ramesh Koirala; singer Deepak Limbu; singer Deepa Suhang; lyricist Bishnu Bhandari; lyricist Jeevan Mukarung; singer Ashok Mukarung; and others.
