Kathmandu: As the Nepali music industry welcomes the month of Shrawan, the release of new Teej songs has gained momentum. Adding to the festive lineup, veteran lyricist and composer Kastup Pant has released a new Teej song titled “Khali Bhayo Jeb.”
The song features the melodious voice of popular singer Eleena Chauhan, with lyrics and music composed by Kastup Pant. Ramesh Century handled the music arrangement, while Kumar Pun completed the mixing and mastering. The track was recorded at Maruni Digital Recording Studio by Khuman Rana and Suman Rana. Singer Ramji Khand has also lent his voice to the song.

The song revolves around the dreams and aspirations of a young woman during the Teej festival. Through prayers to Lord Shiva, she expresses her heartfelt wishes and hopes for them to be fulfilled, reflecting the emotional and cultural essence of the festival.
The music video stars popular models Eleena Rayamajhi and Parbati Shrestha, who deliver energetic dance performances. Directed by Smriti Timilsina “Guru Aama,” the video was filmed by Karan Chaisir and edited by Binod Bam.

The production team believes the song’s artistic portrayal of Teej traditions and contemporary social realities will resonate with audiences throughout this year’s festival season.
The song has been released through its official YouTube channel and other major digital platforms. Given the successful track record of both Eleena Chauhan and Kastup Pant, the team is optimistic that “Khali Bhayo Jeb” will receive an enthusiastic response from listeners and viewers.
