The restaurant has brought in professional Arabic chefs and aims to develop Sultan not merely as a restaurant but as a complete cultural and hospitality experience centered around Arabic cuisine and traditions.
Along with food and beverages, the venue offers an environment suitable for music, entertainment and social gatherings. Papaz Grill & Bar is also operating at the same location, providing a combined dining and entertainment experience for families, friends, local customers, tourists and international visitors living in Kathmandu.

Papaz Bar also features performances by international dancers and other entertainment programs for guests.
At a time when Kathmandu’s tourism and hospitality sector is embracing a growing range of international cuisines, the arrival of Sultan Arabic Grill can be seen as a new effort to connect Arabic cuisine with the city’s growing gastronomic tourism.
The restaurant particularly aims to provide familiar flavors to visitors from Middle Eastern and Arab countries while introducing Nepali customers to a new culinary culture.

Khadka said the restaurant is targeting Kathmandu’s international community, people associated with diplomatic missions, tourists and local food enthusiasts, with plans to offer a distinctive dining experience. She also revealed plans to expand the business under the ‘Sultan Hospitality’ brand in the future.
