The fourth edition of ‘Miss and Mrs. Gurung’ (Miss and Mrs. Gurung 2082), aimed at highlighting the beauty, confidence, and cultural identity of Gurung community women and married women, has begun. The organizers have announced the opening of applications for the competition, with the first round of auditions scheduled to take place on July 10 at Vishal Futsal in Samakhushi, Kathmandu.
According to the organization ‘SK Entertainment’, which has been organizing the program, this competition is set to be held this time in a broader and more inclusive manner, taking into consideration the success and positive responses received in past editions.According to Shanta Lama Tamang, the chairperson of ‘SK Entertainment’, the registration fee and all training for women and married women participating in the competition have been made free of charge. She stated that the program has been created as a platform to showcase talent without any financial burden.
The contestants selected through the auditions of a competition aimed at providing a platform for the hidden art, self-strength, and cultural values in Gurung women will be trained for 30-35 days in personality development, fashion training, confidence building, Gurung cultural presentations, stage presence, photo shoots, public speaking, and more.
After the training, winners will be announced by the Grand Finale judging panel. Winners will receive titles, trophies, certificates, attractive prizes, and the opportunity to be affiliated with various brands.
