Kathmandu. The trailer of the film ‘Manabinako Dhan’, based on the life story of child singer Ashok Darji, has been released on YouTube. The trailer shows Darji’s story from being a street child to his musical success. The trailer includes scenes from his childhood, when he was sitting on the street singing and asking for money from passersby, to his current state of being in school.

While singing on the street, a man gives him shelter and teaches him. He also supports his singing career. Over time, it is shown that he achieves musical success along with his career. The struggle of the people of Bhumi has been extended from the square in Itahari to Kathmandu for their residence and education.

This is the debut directorial feature film of Tank Budhathoki, who is also a famous musician. The film, which has his own story and music direction, stars Saroj Khanal, Neeta Dhungana, Buddhi Tamang, Santosh Panta, Bina Raut, Bholaraj Sapkota, among others.

Minu Sharma is the executive producer of the film, presented by Tank Budhathoki Productions. GP Sangraula, Bibek Nepal and Vijaya Pandey are the co-producers.

Tikaram Budhathoki is the creative director. The producer has described the film as a ‘story from hero to zero’. The film ‘Manabinako Dhan’ is set to hit the screens from 21 Kartik.
