Kathmandu. Lyricist Madhav Neupane’s latest creation ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ has been released. Presented by MM Entertainment and Events, ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ is composed by Khuman Adhikari and lyrics are by Madhav Neupane. The lyrical story ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ features the voices of Khuman Adhikari, Devi Gharti Magar, Shanti Shree Pariyar, and Sunita Budha Chhetri.

The video for ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ features lively performances by Laxmi Giri, Gaurav Pahadi, Siru Bista, Vishal Pahadi, Mohan Khadka, Sarita Dankuti, Swastika Lamichhane, Bipana Ghimire, Biniram Neupane, Dipsagar, Biraj Sapkota, and others.

The video for ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ has been edited by Tekendra Shah and shot by Karan Chaisar and Kash Gurung. The story, production and direction are by Neupane.

Lyricist Neupane said that the song ‘Kathai Ma Ta’ is centered on the story and lyrics created after the Nirmala murder case. Neupane claims that the song fundamentally addresses the rape that occurs in society. He claims that not only the Nirmala murder case but also the rape incident within his own family circle motivated him to create it.

He said that the song and story, which were created with the aim of reducing violence against women, carry a social message, so they took the creation as an indicator to reach as many people as possible. Stating that chaos has also spread with the recent changes, lyricist Neupane also expressed his doubts about the kind of changes that society is undergoing, which should make daughters feel unsafe.

Lyricist Madhav Neupane said that it took 7 years to prepare the song ‘Kathai Ma Ta’. Neupane, who has been working in Australia, returns to Nepal every 6 months and has been giving new creations in the field of music.

He also invites artists to Australia and presents Nepali art and culture there. Through MM Entertainment and Events, he has been showcasing Nepali culture by inviting famous Nepali artists to Australia.

Lyricist Neupane’s songs, including Garibko Kitab, Tharrar, Anthiya Palt, Thokyo Damaha, Baimani, Basauni Telai, Haryo Dollar, Main Auchu Daudere, Matoko Kasam, Lockdownko Dori, have been released. Even though the memories of home haunt me while sweating on foreign soil, the song’s lyrics inspire me to continue investing in and creating in Nepali art and culture.
