Kathmandu – Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL) has provided food and essential relief materials worth NPR 1 million to people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River.
The bank said the support was provided under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The relief package, aimed at around 200 affected families, includes rice, lentils, cooking oil, salt, biscuits, beaten rice (chiura), dalmoth, instant noodles, dried vegetable products (masyura), drinking water and other essential items.

The bank has also previously contributed NPR 30 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support disaster-affected communities.

The relief materials were handed over by Bina Sharma, Head of the Marketing and Sales Department of Agriculture Development Bank. Senior Branch Manager Maheshwar Marhatta, Senior Branch Officer Geeta Nepal Sharma, Business Officer Maniraj Dhungana, Office Assistant Babita Aryal, among others, were present at the handover program.
The bank said it remains committed to supporting communities affected by natural disasters and contributing to relief and recovery efforts.
