Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. The market, which decreased by 12.62 points, stopped at 2080.92 points. This is a decrease of 0.60 percent. Finance investors lost the most on Thursday. The finance sub-index decreased by 2 percent.
Apart from this, the sub-index, including hydropower, development banks, and business, has also decreased by a lot. Even in the declining market, the sub-index of hotels and tourism, banks, and mutual funds has increased. On Thursday, 93 lakh, 82 thousand, 440 shares were bought and sold out of 57 thousand, 645 transactions of 296 securities. The transaction amount has reached 3 billion 396 million 660 thousand 605 rupees.
NMA Ventures, SBL Ventures, and NIBL Samriddhi Fund traded on positive circuit labels. The prices of securities including People’s Hydro, Himalayan Power, Buddhbhumi Hydro, and Manakamana Smart Laguvitta have decreased by a lot. Securities including Shivam Cement, Solti Hotel, Himalayan Life Insurance, and Nepal Telecom have been traded a lot today.
