Bhojpur. Under the leadership of former Finance Minister and senior lyricist Shankar Prasad Koirala (SP Koirala), an ‘e-learning center’ has been established in schools and campuses of Bhojpur with the aim of accustoming students to information technology and teaching them.
An e-learning center has been established in the district with the support of an organization called Ishwor Mandir Kathmandu, led by former Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala. As part of the e-learning campaign, an e-learning center has been established at Jan Kalyan Adharabhut School in Kafle, Ward No. 9, Bhojpur Municipality.
An e-learning center was established at the school, which was founded under the leadership of local Kalyan Prasad Koirala, with the support of his family.

The e-learning center came into operation after the school, which was established in 2014 BS, was equipped with electronic equipment, including 10 computer sets and a smart TV. Former Finance Minister Koirala handed over the center to the school principal and the chairperson of the school management committee.
Former Finance Minister Koirala said that his organization has been establishing e-learning centers in schools with the aim of familiarizing students with information technology and making learning effective. He said, “In the current era of information technology, it is necessary to connect students with technology, not just through study as in the past.”
That is why we have been supporting the establishment of e-learning centers in schools in rural areas for years. We are confident that this will facilitate learning.
Lyricist Ramesh Koirala, son of the school’s founder Kalyan Prasad Koirala, has established an e-learning center a revolving fund of Rs. 111,111 in the name of his parents, and has also established a scholarship. The school’s principal, Yograj Luitel, said that the e-learning center has also been launched on the occasion of the school’s 69th anniversary.

Not only in Kafle, the organization has also established e-learning centers in schools in the district, including Tribhuvan Dharmodaya Secondary School, Bhojpur Multiple Campus, Vidhyodaya Secondary School, Janasewa Aadharbhut School, Saraswati Adharbhut School, Adarsh Shishu Adharbhut School, Sagarmatha Secondary School in Hatuwagadhi, Arun Secondary School in Shadananda Municipality, and Shrada Secondary School in Arun Rural Municipality.
Pramesh KC, the president of the Ishwar Mandir organization, said that the organization is currently supporting the educational improvement of community schools in Bhojpur with the campaign ‘Students with us, computers in hand’. Sanket Koirala, the general secretary of the organization, said, “In the era of modern technology, it is essential for students to have not only pens and paper but also modern computers. That is why we are currently supporting schools in Bhojpur under that campaign.” Our goal is to expand this to other places as well.
